The Equality Act 2010 places a duty on employers not to discriminate against or harass disabled workers. This duty starts at the recruitment stage, runs through the entire employed relationship and continues even after the employee has left.

If an employee could do the role but for his disability or becomes disabled while working for you, you have to consider making reasonable adjustments.
