Where an organisation proposes to make between 20-99 employees redundant, the law places a duty upon it to consult collectively with a recognised trade union or elected employee representatives. Such collective consultation must be completed before notice of dismissal is given to any of the employees concerned and it must be meaningful; it is not enough only to inform. This workshop gives employee representatives the skills and knowledge to carry out their role properly. Half day.
Covers:
- the duty to consult and inform?

- the process
- how to be an effective participant

Testimonials
See all...Kate’s advice is always efficient, sensible and clear. I’ve relied heavily on her over the last year particularly, for a wide range of issues. Her support has been invaluable to our small management team as well. She’s often the voice of reason in an unreasonable world! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her service.
